Attorney-Client Disputes/Legal Malpractice: Our client's former attorneys gave him incorrect advice regarding a bankruptcy, resulting in a nearly total liquidation of his assets instead of the opportunity to reorganize his debts. Business Disputes: When a famous film composer kept more than his share of the residual payments received from past movies he had worked on, we evened the score with a lawsuit for fraud.
Breach of Contract: We filed suit and collected a judgment against a condominium developer that failed to keep its written agreement to make substantial repairs to faulty construction.

Construction Defects: We represented the homeowner's association of a high-rise condominium that was not built to withstand a foreseeable earthquake. The case was settled for $1,250,000.
Discrimination: In the 1960's and early 1970's when apartment house owners often refused to rent to minorities, we gained national prominence for successful verdicts and judgments against those who turned qualified renters away because of their color.
Dog Bite Injuries: When our 10-year old client was mauled by a neighbor's dog, our representation resulted in a settlement that ultimately paid for a four-year education at USC.

Insurance Company Bad Faith: A jury held that State Farm's agent had negligently underinsured our client's residence, and that State Farm had wrongfully refused to pay for all of the damage.

Malicious Prosecution: When the will of one of the Marx Brothers was contested without evidence to support the claims, we defeated the will contest and obtained a substantial jury verdict against the lawyers who filed the lawsuit.
