What will it cost for legal representation?
We never require a client to pay on an hourly basis. We handle injury cases on a contingency fee basis, which means that when there is a settlement or judgment, we receive a percentage of what we recovered for you. And, we never charge for a case-evaluation consultation.
How long will it take until my case is concluded?
Every case is different. Some people recover quickly and some suffer a lengthy disability. It is important to wait until your doctor has determined that your condition needs no further care or treatment. Then, if the insurance company refuses to pay a fair settlement, it will be necessary to file a lawsuit. Although most cases are settled after a lawsuit is filed and preliminary investigation (called “discovery”) is conducted, settlement or trial may not occur for 12 to 16 months.
